F1 season is well and truly here and the final countdown to the AusGP is on! The Australian Open barely seems to be over and we’re all full swing into the next major event on the Australian calendar. With our national tour The March Edition of Behind the Stage is finding its way to your inbox slightly later than planned, thanks to a bout of the flu heralding in the change of season. Although, nothing can take the edge of what was indeed a month of highlights as we close out the first quarter of 2025.
Prior to March, the fandom of F1 was rhetoric for me. That was until the legendary Guenther Steiner hit our shores for 9 shows in 7 cities to over 12,000 Aussie super fans. The buzz was literally electric as Guenther took audiences into pit lanes and the circuits of the world’s greatest racing venues. Billed as uncompromising, brutally funny, entertaining and searingly honest, Guenther’s in-conversation with James Hogg delivered as promised!
Between shows, some premium brands took advantage of inviting Guenther as a guest speaker for Paddock Club activations with VIPs. It was like what I imagine being part of Taylor Swift’s entourage, for the super-fandom. If you’re reading this from the UK, you’re in luck – we have 40+ tour dates for Guenther remaining in 2025. (Fair warning: I’m likely to be writing the March 2026 edition of this newsletter fully decked out in team merch, complete with a full repertoire of F1 jargon.)
Another stellar highlight for March was the announcement of Nigella Lawson for Vivid Sydney 2025. Vivid Sydney is the largest event in the Southern Hemisphere and the world’s most iconic festival of light, music, ideas and food.
Global food icon, Nigella Lawson has curated the menu, and for three very special nights, will host each dinner with Festival Director, Gill Minervini. This is a first of its kind experience, with no events ever staged in Sydney’s newest subterranean landmark – the Muru Giligu Tunnel. We expected these dinners with Nigella to sell out quickly but didn’t expect sell out in less than 48 hours. We extend our thanks to the supremely talented team at Vivid Sydney and Vivid Food for the opportunity to work on this iconic event.
There’s always more though, right?
Tour production is always an exciting work in progress with announcements for 2025 soon to be released and scheduling for 2026 and 2027 in production. Corporate speaker bookings for Fane touring artists as well as partnerships have been keeping the team well and truly on their toes.
If you’re interested in learning about upcoming touring artists for corporate speaking or partnerships; or securing preferential group booking rates for your team, I’d be delighted to hear from you.
